Assistant Professor ยท Computer Science & Engineering
I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Stony Brook University in 2022, where I worked with Professor Shan Lin, and my B.S. in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2015.
My research connects cyber-physical systems, machine learning, control, and data science to improve urban services, mobility, energy systems, and smart infrastructure.
I welcome inquiries from motivated Ph.D., master's, and undergraduate students interested in smart cities, cyber-physical systems, machine learning, and control. Please email yukun-yuan@utc.edu with your CV and a short description of your research interests.
